Sharon Lutz comes to TCDA and TODA with a degree in Business Administration in Marketing from Texas A&M and has an impressive background in both the business and education world. Her most recent positions were with the University of Houston and the University of Texas, both in their colleges of business, where her responsibilities ran a large gamut of collaborative and strategic duties involving administration, faculty, students, alumni and a variety of corporations. Sharon has a wealth of experience with finance, marketing, and systems planning.
She is filled with energy, innovation, warmth, laughter, and ideas for TCDA and TODA. Sharon has served on association boards for many years and understands our challenges for the future. Her wealth of experience in business, education and on voluntary boards will enable her to take our associations to a new level of professionalism and effectiveness while also reaching a broader audience.
Sharon has three accomplished children – Rachel, LCSW, Allyson, software professional, and Colter, musician.
Hallie Boone - Member Services Coordinator
Hallie Boone joined TCDA in December 2014. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Communications. Hallie brings a broad range of skills to TCDA, with administration experience in a software start-up environment for the last several years. She’s accustomed to multi-tasking, event planning, project management, and organizing all of it! Excellent customer service is also a high priority to her. Hallie is looking forward to meeting as many Texas Choral Directors as possible.
Beverly Schlegel - Publications
Beverly Schlegel joined TCDA in December 2011 after a 25-year career in administration at the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. She holds a B.A. degree in English from UT Austin. Beverly’s responsibilities at the business school included management of staff, coordinating academic processes, publishing school magazines and newsletters, school renovation projects and event planning.
Beverly is transitioning to a part-time role in which she will work exclusively on TCDA publications.
